It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the passing of Barbara Routh, wife of Deacon Erik Routh, and valued member of our parish family.  Our parish has been fervently praying for the Routh family in this most difficult of times.  Barbara will be greatly missed.  The following is a letter from the Routh and Ohlson Family

Dear family, friends, and prayer warriors:

We didn't have long to wait. At 9:28 a.m. on St. Valentine's Day, Barbara stepped into the presence of God's glory. Barbara is now pain-free, CANCER-FREE and is being held tightly in the arms of the Savior in whom she had such a strong and intense faith. She went peacefully and quietly, surrounded by family and friends and many, many prayers. Her hospice team was a godly and compassionate group of people -- we are so thankful for these amazing souls.

"But just think of stepping on shore, and finding it Heaven; of touching a hand, and finding it God's; of breathing new air, and finding it Celestial; of waking up in Glory, and finding it Home." Barb is there now, stepping, breathing, waking, and finding Home.

We continue to beg your prayers, now for her five beautiful children, her husband, and the rest of the family and friends who now find a gaping absence in their earthly lives.  We are considering Saturday, Feb. 19, as the probable date for services. Time, location, and details to follow.
