Vacation Bible School 2009 took students back in time, to the time of Paul (who was under house arrest) and the Underground Church which met secretly in a cave. Students experienced what life was like in Rome through interactions with the people of Rome and the food. Everyday students learned about how truly important God's Love is in our lives.
On June 21st, The Right Reverend Daren K. Williams, Ordinary of the

playing an organ recital before Sung Evensong and Benediction. For more

Anselm Adams Ashforth.
Kaiyah Francesca Routh was part of this class, but confirmed

We once again offer thanks and gratitude to the Los Angeles Fire Department Station 35 for their help in repairing our bell. For pictures visit our Facebook Page.
On June 21, Bishop Williams dedicated the work accomplished on the Tympanium thus far. The mandorla surrounding the original ceramic of Our Lady is now gold-leafed. Spaces left for mosaics on either side have yet to be filled. A design for two kneeling angels is finished, awaiting funding. The Photoshop picture (below right) illustrates how it will appear when completed. An initial gift from the family of Fr. James H. Jordan, second Rector of St. Mary's, got the project going. It was a project he longed to see completed.
