If you have kids who aren’t attending Sunday school, we encourage them to join us in the Parish Hall at 9:00 a.m. We being with Chapel, and then break up into our Sunday school groups. We have lots of fun learning about the Anglican Faith, learning Bible verses and the Catechism, singing songs, and creating fun artwork. If you’d like to help out with Sunday school, please speak to Deacon Routh or any of the Sunday school staff.
Elizabeth Kelley and Colleen Kennedy, a member of our Parish Schola Cantorum and a talented director of children's music, is working with our Sunday School children every Sunday from 9:30 to 9:50. She is teaching the fundamentals of music, as well as introducing them to the Church's musical traditions.
Bible stories, elements of Church doctrine, games, and
lessons about the lives of the Saints, as well as music education
provide the core of our Children's Sunday School.
Presently the children are looking at Old Testament stories and right
now we are studying Israel during the time of King David. Children's
Sunday School meets in the cottage behind the Parish Hall from 9:00
until 9:50 a.m. and is open to all children ages 3-12 yrs. old. Come and
learn about God's great care and provision of all His children!
Baptismal preparation classes are scheduled with the clergy.
Classes in preparation for confirmation generally run from fall to spring, and are extremely interesting. Contact the rector for information.
The mission of St. Mary's Theological College is to provide professionally educated, well-trained, spiritually mature and disciplined candidates for Holy Orders, who upon ordination are capable of effective and productive ministry throughout the Traditional Anglican Communion.
NOTE
The program is currently in hiatus, pending some curricular
restructuring under direction of the Bishop Ordinary and new Rector.
Plans are also in development for an enlarged consortium of
participating academic institutions and parochial sites. Classes have
traditionally met at St. Mary's, but other sites may be assigned by the
Bishop, Rector and Faculty.
